  • (*) Merchant account not necessary
An individual 'merchant account' is a pre-condition for subscribing to an online payment gateway. The process to become merchant involves due diligence banking process and paper-work. It also requires third party validation for good credit rating. The whole process may take some time and newly established businesses may find it difficult to comply with.
